My art online

Art is more than the creating of a beautiful product. It's a expression of the soul. For me, herein lies the difference between plain creating and making art. On this website I try to arrange my expressions, and share this with the world. Every page breaths my mind, my heart and my soul...

Most of all this is writing, because it opens a direct link between my hand and what makes me tick. So direct, so fierce, I sometimes get surprised myself about what has been slumbering in the dark. Best known will be my drawings, because only few people take the time to really pay attention. Eventhough a picture may tell a thousand words, there're millions more to share. All other forms of art will in my case probably always be submissive to these two. I love music so much and admire musicians in great degree, since it's the only artform 'I know of' in which I have absolutely no talent 'as far as I know'. Therefor I have been trying to combine my art with existing music.

Human touch

Things an artist needs are of course the equipment. I can not list what this will be, since every artform has its specialities, every artist has his own preferances and even every time offers a different setting. Inspiration is of course a mayor need, for without the art will never be. But in my opinion inspiration is something that's always there for the taking, and a lack thereof is more often just as a peg to hang on all the exuses of an artist's procrastination (I'd know, I've been there and still am from time to time).

But one thing an artist requires most and is often forgotten or underestimated is attention. If not, I would just keep all my work on my own computer, read it and watch it all by myself. So often refered to as the audience. But I personally think, this is just a form of attention one seeks. I think we need more. I think it's what makes an artist's heart tick. I need the responds when some one views my work, constructive criticism and soothing awe both from time to time. And the touch of a friend when the waves of life are being rough and art itself is lacking comfort.

Lilies & orchids

So never feel restained in commenting or getting / keeping in touch. This spot on the internet which I've tried to make my home, is my way to reach out to humankind(ness). I have my door wide open for you to enter. Have a look around, sit down and have a cup of coffee. You do not have to pay a fee to enter: you're my guest at least, a friend at best. When I go and visit I bring a little present like a bouquet to thank for the hospitality and the coffee. Let your words be like the flowers sprung from your heart.

Launching new website!

In the category 'HEAR no evil' there are two videos I've made. I was working on a third animated one, which will take a lot of time to draw. But I'm still looking for a good program, since iMovie isn't sufficient.

I have made two photoalbums in 'SEE no evil' for now, with two different drawing styles. This might be expanded with other visual art. Not all drawing have been uploaded. I will do that soon.

Compared to all the things I have written and archived in my life, 'WRITE no evil' is patheticly empty. I will do my best to fill this as soon as possible. At the other hand, I have been writing a lot lately, so it might even be nicer to have new work on display, than reading my old works. Bygones anyway.
